Juries AI Terms of Service and AI Acceptable Use Policy

Welcome to Juries AI! These Terms of Service and AI Acceptable Use Policy (“Terms”) govern your use of the Juries AI website (the “Website”) and products and services (“Services”) provided by Juries.ai, LLC (“Juries,” “Juries AI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our Website or Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our Website or Services. If you or your organization have entered into a separate written agreement with Juries AI, that agreement will control to the extent it applies to your use of our Website or Services and governs in the event of any conflict with these Terms.
1. Use of Website and Services
You must be at least 18 years old to use our Website and Services. By using our Website and Services, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use our Website to view content and materials that Juries AI intentionally makes publicly available, solely for your personal, non-commercial reference or to evaluate our Services on behalf of a prospective enterprise customer. Use of our Services (including any AI-powered simulations) is permitted only if you are (i) an authorized user under a separate agreement with Juries AI, or (ii) expressly authorized to evaluate the Services on behalf of a prospective enterprise customer. Our Services are intended for enterprise and professional use, and not for personal, familial, or household purposes. You agree not to use our Website or Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
2. Account Registration
To use certain features of our Website or Services, you must create an account and provide accurate and complete information. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
3. Payment and Refunds
We may offer paid Services, including through our Website. You agree to pay all fees and applicable taxes associated with our Services. We reserve the right to modify our fees at any time. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
If you or your organization enter into a separate agreement with us, fees and payment terms, if applicable, may be set forth in a separate order form or agreement with your organization. Unless otherwise specified in that agreement, all fees are non-refundable
4. Intellectual Property
Our Website and Services contain intellectual property owned by Juries AI or our licensors. You agree not to copy, modify, distribute, sell, or license any of our intellectual property without our prior written consent.
5. User Content
You are solely responsible for any content or data that you submit, upload, or provide through or to our Website or Services (“User Content”). You grant Juries AI a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, modify, display, process, store, and perform your User Content for the purpose of operating, providing, securing, and improving the Website and Services in accordance with these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you or your organization have entered into a separate written agreement with Juries AI, the terms of that agreement will govern to the extent of any conflict with these Terms.
You represent and warrant that your User Content does not infringe any third-party rights (including intellectual property rights) or violate any applicable laws or regulations.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
Our Website and Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that our Website or Services will be uninterrupted or error-free. If you are accessing our Website or Services via your organization, you may request Juries AI’s specific privacy policy with your organization by requesting it from your admin. 7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Juries AI will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages of any kind, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from or related to your use of the Website or Services, whether based in contract, tort, statute, or any other legal theory, even if Juries AI has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Juries AI’s total aggregate liability for all claims arising from or related to your use of the Website or Services will not exceed the greater of (i) one hundred dollars ($100) or (ii) the amounts paid by your organization to Juries AI under the applicable agreement in the twelve (12) months before the claim.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Juries AI and its officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, successors, and assigns from and against any and all claims, demands, actions, proceedings, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including attorneys’ fees and costs) arising out of or related to (i) your access to or use of the Website or Services, (ii) your breach of these Terms, or (iii) any User Content you submit, upload, or provide, including any allegation that such User Content infringes or misappropriates the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party or violates any law.
9. Termination
We may terminate your account and access to our Website and Services at any time and for any reason without notice.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Delaware.
11. AI Acceptable Use Policy
a. Background\ Juries AI provides AI-powered personality simulations designed to help enterprise customers understand and evaluate jurors, judges, trials, and related litigation scenarios. It does not make binding legal decisions or offer legal advice. Instead, it offers simulations and analytics to assist professional users in their litigation strategies. This policy outlines appropriate use of Juries AI’s Website and Services to ensure accuracy, security, and compliance with applicable laws and professional obligations.
b. Notification and Grant of Rights\ By using Juries AI’s Website or Services, you acknowledge and consent to the following:
AI Usage Notification: Juries AI’s Website or Services include an artificial intelligence system that generates personality simulations and trial-related outputs using automated processing and large language models.
Data Handling & Privacy: Juries AI processes only the information necessary to provide the Website and Services. Our general Privacy Policy governs personal information we collect in connection with the Website, marketing, and any use of the Services not otherwise covered by a separate written agreement. Information processed on behalf of enterprise customers pursuant to such agreements is subject to those agreements.
Grant of Rights: By using Juries AI’s Website or Services, you grant Juries AI and its authorized service providers a limited right to process, analyze, and store data you provide through the Website or Services solely as necessary to operate, provide, secure, and improve the Website and Services in accordance with these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any separate written agreement with your organization.
c. Permitted Uses\ Juries AI is designed for use by enterprise legal teams and other authorized professionals. Use of the Services is permitted only (i) under a separate written agreement between Juries AI and your organization, or (ii) where you have been expressly authorized to evaluate the Services on behalf of a prospective enterprise customer. Permitted uses include:
Running jury or judge simulations.
Analyzing judge, jury, and trial scenarios, arguments, or evidence presentation.
Using simulation outputs in connection with enterprise legal strategy and related professional purposes.
Other uses communicated to you by Juries AI.
d. Prohibited Use\ To maintain security, privacy, integrity, and efficiency, users must not:
Use the Website or Services for any personal, consumer, or household purpose, or for any purpose not expressly permitted under these Terms or a separate written agreement with Juries AI.
Enter, upload, or transmit any personal data unrelated to the enterprise use case, including but not limited to Social Security numbers, personal credit card details, or home addresses.
Input or disclose confidential, proprietary, or privileged information unless you are expressly authorized by your organization to do so.
Use Juries AI in any manner that is illegal, harmful, fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, infringing, or otherwise violates the rights of any person or entity, or that fails to comply with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards (including, without limitation, data protection and privacy laws such as GDPR and CCPA).
Attempt to modify, override, disable, or interfere with Juries AI’s automated processes, algorithms, or intended functionality.
Attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, decipher, or otherwise derive the source code or underlying ideas of Juries AI or any related systems.
Copy, modify, translate, adapt, or create derivative works based on Juries AI or its content, except as expressly permitted in writing by Juries AI.
Attempt to bypass, disable, probe, or interfere with any security features, authentication mechanisms, or technical protections of Juries AI.
Use any automated tools, bots, crawlers, scrapers, or scripts to interact with Juries AI in a manner inconsistent with its intended design.
Access, attempt to access, or manipulate any data, accounts, or systems other than those you are expressly authorized to access through standard Juries AI functionality.
Use Juries AI or its outputs as legal advice, binding authority, or evidence in any judicial, regulatory, or governmental proceeding.
e. Data Privacy and Security\ Juries AI processes personal information only as described in our Privacy Policy and applicable customer agreements. Misuse of Juries AI may result in suspension of access or other escalation. Users are responsible for ensuring compliance with their organization’s policies when using Juries AI.
f. Other Policies\ Your organization may impose additional policies on your usage of Juries AI. For questions about permitted usage, privacy, or security, please contact your organization’s administrator.
g. Acknowledgment and Acceptance\ By using the Website or Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with these terms. You understand and agree that if you misuse Juries AI, including but not limited to entering personal information unnecessarily, violating security protocols, or using it for unauthorized purposes, you (i) waive any claims against Juries.ai, LLC, its affiliates, and service providers related to any consequences resulting from such misuse, and (ii) accept full responsibility for any risks, including unauthorized data exposure or disciplinary **action **under your organization’s policies ****or any violation of applicable law.
